ENGLISH-LANGUAGE BOOKS:

KIA has a moderate fiction library (around 2500 books)containing a wide assortment of genres from modern romance to classical tragedy and from mystery to science fiction. These are lent free of charge.

 

ENGLISH-LANGUAGE VIDEOS:

KIA has a limited number of videos (around 200) concerning various genres. We lend these free of charge.

 

LANGUAGE TEXTBOOKS:

We have a number of textbooks for learning Japanese that we lend.

 

MAPS AND GUIDEBOOKS:

Our collection of Lonely Planet and other guidebooks is very popular and we lend them out. Also, we have maps and atlases for your reference use in KIA (non-loanable).

 

MAGAZINES:

We take Newsweek and National Geographic that you may read at your pleasure in KIA (non-loanable).

 

NEWSPAPERS:

The Japan Times and the Daily Yomiuri are available daily. We also take all the major Japanese-language papers. (Non-loanable)
